No-Needle No-Scalpel Vasectomy
Pre-Procedure Preparation:

If you are planning to take oral sedative, you are not permitted to drive the rest of the day. Please arrange a driver to take you home.

Shave the hair on scrotum only

Just before coming to the clinic for procedure, take a shower and wear loose fitting underwear.

The procedure takes about 30 minutes.
Surgery

Lie down on your back
-
The skin of the scrotum is sterilized with antiseptic solution

The skin and the vas deferens are numbed with local anesthetic solution administered either with a pressurized syringe without a needle or with a fine, tiny needle. No more pain once the freezing starts within seconds. You will feel pulling and touching.

A single skin puncture about 2-3 mm is made.

The vas deferen is separated from the tissue, a segment removed, cauterized and clipped with small titanium clips.

The same is done on the other vas

Both vas deferens are returned back into scrotum.

No stitches to skin. Tiny puncture wound is sealed by itself.
Immediate after the Procedure

Rest in the clinic for about 30 minutes

The puncture wound will heal in a few days with little or no scarring
Post-Procedure care:

Limit physical activity for 1-2 days

Don't shower for 24 hours, and no swimming or bath for 1 week

Avoid sexually activity for 1 week

Avoid strenuous activity for 2 weeks

Semen test after 3 months or 20 ejaculations. Use other contraceptive methods until the semen test shows no sperm.
