RN / RPN - Part Time / Full Time

 

Currently hiring a part-time Endoscopy RN and RPN.

 

We are looking for passionate, motivated nurses who are team-oriented with a desire to learn and improve their skills. Part-time, with the opportunities for growth.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• To access clients’ safety status, including physical environment, make recommendations, implement interventions and advocate on client’s behalf to ensure client’s safety is maintained;

• To document clearly and accurately in accordance with CNO standards;

• To maintain client confidentiality;

• To provide professional nursing care in accordance with regulatory body standards & guidelines, applicable legislation;

• To maintain competency in nursing skills;

• To communicate appropriate client information within the client’s interdisciplinary team to promote quality, client focused care;

• To communicate any serious client or risk concerns immediately to the Nursing Supervisor;

• To provide assistance on occasion with administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• RN- Current ACLS Certification; RPN- Current BLS Certification

• Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse with their provincial regulatory body

• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary for the position, e.g., transferring, lifting client as required

• IV skills

• Excellent analytical and assessment skills

• Must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, clinical knowledge, time management and customer focus skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office, EMR an asset, but not required.

• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin/Cantonese an asset.
